We won two out of those seven events, and 10 out of the 21 medals we contended for!

Congratulations to all our fencers, and we will be sending you full details of how you did as soon as we can.

Special congratulations are also due to:

Bronze medallists:
  • Caelan

  • Rachel, (who had to struggle against a sudden-onset bout of acute food poisoning which took hold half-way through her event)
Silver Medallists:

  • Josh H

Salle FiF founded!

Today, Salle FiF has been created.

Prof. HT "Bert" Bracewell, the now retired National Coach and National Development Officer of Scotland, has kindly agreed to be our Honorary President, allowing us to use the word "Salle" in our title.  In fencing circles, Salles are the training centres of a specific Master. The organisers and committee of Salle FiF are delighted to have such an eminent Master leading our Salle.

Our new committee have created a constitution, and handed in an Affiliation form to the British Fencing Association via the Home Country Governing Body, Scottish Fencing.

So, as of today, members of Salle FiF may join Scottish Fencing as Social Members.
